The orange... the golden angel. Perfectly pocket-sized package of sunlight, water and earth. God's miracle given to us.

Gen 1:29
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

This passage represents God's declaration of what our optimum food is... which absolutely aligns with our human physiology. Our body's desired fuel source in food is glucose. So every food type has to be broken down to this form, glucose, before it is used. The more steps to get there, the more strain on the body. More strain, more acidity. Acidity is the root of all dis-ease. Alkalinity is all about ease. Acidity is death, alkalinity is life. And what is the optimum form of glucose? What is the easiest food to break down to this simple fuel? Fruit... and to a lesser degree vegetables. Just as described in the passage above.

Thus the orange is truly a model form to help shift towards this realization. And an easy route for anyone to start incorporating more fruit into their diet. They are commonly found in stores, are hardy and thus less often sprayed with pesticides, store easily and require little equipment to juice. My favorite way to start the day? Freshly squeezed orange juice. Not store-bought, boiled, pasteurized, dead juice, but raw, living, vibrant juice. The taste is nothing short of heaven. The feeling is so much better and cleaner than any coffee (highly acidic) boost and doesn't weigh you down like the "traditional" breakfast full of dense/complex "foods" that God never really intended us to eat. They lied to us about EVERYTHING, including our food. Given such, we all have a ways to transition away from that which does not serve us in food. And replacing breakfast with an abundance of fruit or my favorite, freshly squeezed orange juice (I do at least a liter/day) is something anyone can start to incorporate. Give it a try for some time and see how you feel. Your body will tell you.
